There are professionally-trained staff on duty during all of the hours the Library is open. They are happy to answer your questions in person, by phone or at info(AT)cehpubliclibrary.ca.
Phone 902-897-0265 or email us at info(AT)cehpubliclibrary.ca* to reserve items that the Library owns but are currently checked out. You can also place a hold on the item yourself by searching our catalogue and requesting the item that is needed.
If the Library does not own the item you are looking for, you can request that we purchase the item, or you may borrow the item from another library.
If the material you want is not available at our library, it can usually be borrowed from another library for your use. The catalogues of academic (Novanet), regional public (NcompasS), and Halifax Regional Municipality libraries can be viewed at all our branches or by searching the desired library from our home page.
A variety of programs are available at the various branches in the Colchester-East Hants Public Library system. Visit the branch nearest you from our 'branches' site to see what your library has to offer or phone your local branch for details.
Would you like to learn the basic skills you need to find library materials? We offer tours and classes for adults on how to use the on-line catalogue and magazine database, and World Wide Web.
