Nova Scotia's regional public libraries are connected to the Internet through EDnet, the Department of Education's wide area network. Half hour bookings for Internet use are available at all branches. The regional libraries also subscribe to some specialized reference databases with access at all branches and from an outside computer (with a valid library card).
The Library has computer workstations with online access. Internet use is by reservation only. Users must read, and agree to abide by, the library's Internet Code of Ethics, as well as the Rules and Regulations for using Electronic Resources. Same-day bookings are for a ½ hour time slot and may be made by telephone or in person.
